Morrissey Construction Company Hires Tom Deters as Director of Business Development
(3/20/08) – Morrissey Construction Company is pleased to announce the hire of Tom Deters, a vibrant professional who will aid in stimulating the company’s already stable growth.
Deters comes to Morrissey with over twenty years of construction experience totaling over $178 million in product. His most recent construction involvement was serving as the president of construction and development for a Columbia, Missouri building firm that built investor projects throughout the Midwest and along the southern portion of the United States. He has also overseen the construction of over 1,000 homes and 8,000 apartment units.
“We believe that Tom is going to be a good asset to our team. His extensive track record and positive attitude illustrate that he is well versed in construction industry success, I’m looking forward to seeing great results,” said Ed Morrissey, president of Morrissey Construction Company.
At Morrissey, Deters will serve as the director of business development where he will be responsible for all aspects of business development and sales within the company. In addition to his extensive experience, Deters has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a recipient of the coveted, ‘40 Under 40’ award, given to distinguished business professionals in Columbia, Missouri.
