Morrissey Construction Company's Joint Venture Company Awarded Job

(08/20/09) – Morrissey Construction Company is pleased to announce that its joint venture company 2M Construction Group, Inc. has been awarded the contract to construct the new dormitory at the Civilian Conservation Center located in Golconda, IL.
The dormitory is a 12,675 square foot, one-story 68-bed building and is scheduled for completion August 2010.
The project is funded through $3,205,716 in federal money made available by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and is an 8(a) Sole Source acquisition.
A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for September 11, 2009.
